You are the merchant. The money goes to you.
Payments run on Stripe with your course as the merchant of record. Golfers pay your course, Stripe pays out to your bank, and you pay Stripe's standard rate directly. TeeMarshal adds no markup on processing at launch.
Your Stripe account, connected in minutes
During setup you create or connect a Stripe account for your course without leaving TeeMarshal. Charges are made directly on your account, your course name is on the golfer's card statement, and payouts go to your bank on Stripe's schedule.
Plain processing costs
You pay Stripe's standard published rate for card processing, directly to Stripe. TeeMarshal does not add a markup or a per-booking fee at launch. If that ever changes we will say so in advance and in writing.
Pay now, deposits, and pay at course
Take full payment online, a deposit with the balance due at the counter, or nothing until the golfer arrives. Save a card on file when your policy requires one.
Refunds, rain checks, and no-shows
The everyday money problems are handled where your staff already work.
- Full or partial refunds from the sheet, with a reason, and your policy shown as the default
- Rain checks issued with a code instead of a refund, redeemable online at checkout
- No-show charges against a saved card when your policy allows it. If the charge fails, your GM sees that it could not be charged
- Dispute alerts by email with the booking details and the time the golfer accepted your policy
Card data never touches our servers
Card details are entered into Stripe's own payment form and go straight to Stripe. TeeMarshal never sees or stores card numbers, which keeps your PCI scope to the simplest self-assessment (SAQ A).
A rained-out Saturday foursome
This is a hypothetical example. A foursome prepaid $220 online. Lightning closes the course after six holes. Staff open the booking on the sheet and issue rain checks for the group instead of refunds. Each golfer gets a code by email and uses it at checkout the next time they book online.

Can we keep our current card terminal at the counter?
Yes. You can record counter payments on the sheet as paid at the course. Integrated card readers through Stripe Terminal are part of the pro shop POS module, which is included on every plan and switched on for your course on request.
What happens to our Stripe account if we leave TeeMarshal?
It is your Stripe account with your payment history. You keep it.
